REOPENING OF NASHVILLE = REOPENING OF SKINMD!
We want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our community, patients, and staff very seriously. Like you, we’re closely monitoring the Nashville Mayor’s Reopening Roadmap. Social distancing has slowed the rate at which COVID-19 is spreading in Tennessee. In Nashville and perhaps in certain other parts of the state, the rate of transmission has fallen to the point where the number of new cases may no longer be growing. However, the threat of a return to exponential increases remains. Epidemiologists and infectious disease experts agree that in the absence of strict social distancing, Tennessee’s numbers would once again surge. Phase ONE of the Reopening of Nashville allows for medical offices to open their doors.
EFFECTIVE Thursday, April, 30, 2020, SkinMD will re-open its doors on a limited basis and with specific guidelines and protocols. Patients who are unable to follow the guidelines will not be able to be seen in the office and may have the option to be seen via a Telehealth appointment. If you would like to REQUEST an in-person appointment, please click here.
Age 70+ OR High-Risk
Please stay at home! We are offering EMERGENCY ONLY care to this group (pain/bleeding), unless you have had a positive antibody test (once testing is available-to prove immunity to COVID-19).
*EMERGENCY ONLY APPOINTMENTS will be from 8-9am Monday-Thursday. Otherwise, patients in this group may continue to schedule Telemedicine appointments.
Age <70 AND Low-Risk
You may now have in-person dermatology clinic visits, surgeries and procedures.
